Before you buy

Will the hair grow back thicker or darker?

The head detaches and rinses under running water. The body does not — it isn't waterproof, and water inside the housing will end it. Use it on dry skin, dry the head fully before refitting, and keep the charging port away from water.

Can I use it in the shower or rinse it under the tap?

No. Trimming cuts hair at the surface and doesn't change the follicle, so it grows back the same as before. It will feel blunter for a day or two as it grows out, which is normal and not the same as thicker.

Will it work on coarse or dark hair?

It's built for fine facial hair — peach fuzz, upper lip, the soft hair along the jaw. On coarse or thick hair it will trim rather than shave close, and you'll get a better result from threading or waxing. If your main concern is coarse hair, this isn't the right tool.
